Vision
Our culture supports compassionate, collaborative therapists through access to high quality trainings, continuing education and clinical resources. We envision a community in which all people have access to superior mental health treatment and we want to be a part of promoting healthier families and communities.
-
Core Values
We value collaborative and compassionate care that focuses on the client-therapist relationship. We value social engagement and wish to be active community members and healers. We hold a strong commitment to continued training in an effort to provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ members and communities of color. We value and promote ongoing learning and education for all of our therapists, no matter how experienced.
Land Acknowledgement
RMC Counseling is located on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Goshute, Paiute, Shoshone, and Ute peoples. These lands have been cared for, lived on, and connected to for generations—and that relationship continues today. We honor the original stewards of this land and recognize the lasting impact of colonization and displacement. As a practice grounded in healing, presence, and connection—through somatic work and relational care—we believe that acknowledging the land we’re on is part of showing up with integrity. Our work happens in bodies, in place, and within larger systems. This land acknowledgement is a small step toward honoring those layers and holding space for the histories and truths that live beneath the surface.
